Rooting An Android Galaxy Y GT-S5360

What Is Rooting? 

Rooting is the process to allow the user to get the privileged control. By rooting you will void the warranty of your device. By rooting you can use custom roms and custom recovery tools (it will discuss soon ;)) here i will explain how to root a galaxy y smartphone (only applicable for galaxy y gt-s5360 )

REQUIREMENTS

1. Make sure the phone has atleast 60% of charge.
2. Enable USB Debugging by going SETTINGS->APPLICATION->DEVELOPMENT->USB DEBUGGING.
3. Back up your data with Super Backup here
4. The Zip file from here .
5. Place the zip file in SD card (parent directory)

STEPS

1. Switch Off your device.
2. Boot your device in recovery mode by pressing a key combination(volume up+power+home).
3. In recovery mode the touch will not work and the selection will only work with the help of the volume up,volume down,home.
4. Once you boot in recovery mode goto apply update from SD card .
5. Choose the zip file that we downloaded earlier.
6. Once it is installed choose Wipe data/factory reset.
7. Then choose wipe cache partition.
8. Then click reboot system now.
